Once again, for the THIRD time, WATOTO AFRIKA invites you ALL to our SUMMER FESTIVAL 2017 in Theatro Rematias in Halandri.
As usual we have our SUPER dance semminars which should not be missed, face-painting and of course, African music and dances.
Make sure you do not eat before coming so you can taste our WONDERFUL African cuisine!!! Last but not least, you can admire our AMAZING handi-crafts and MORE!!!

DANSA LENGOMA (dance to the drum/song) with / με τους

UBUNTU DRUM & DANCE GROUP

Για να υποδεχτουμε το καλοκαιρι με θετικη ενεργια, Θα θελαμε να καλεσουμε ολους τουςφιλους μας για να γιορταζουμε το ξεκινημα του καλοκαιριου στο Εμπρος, το Σαββατο 3 Ιουνιου η ωρα 21.00 – 23.00. Ελατε να ταξιδεψουμε μαζι στην Ηπειρο των προγωνων τις ανθρωποτητας, την Aφρικη, μεσω της μουσικης και του χορου
.
Ngoma σημαινει κρουστα στα Swahili. Επισης, στη Τανζανια η λεξη αναφερεται στα φεστιβαλ που γινονται μετα τη σοδεια.
Στα Zulu η λεξη σημαινει τραγουδι και ετσι θα χορεψουμε ολοι μαζι με τους ηχους των Αφρικανων κρουστων και τραγουδιων, που θα σας ανεβασει την διαθεση

To welcome the summer season with positive energy, we would like to invite all our friends to celebrate the beginning of this season with us at Embros Theatre on Saturday 3 June at 21.00 – 23.00. Let us all travel through music and dance, to the continent of our forefathers, Africa, where all form of life began.

Ngoma means drums in Swahili. In Tanzania, the name is also used for after-harvest festivals. In the Zulu language, ngoma means song. So we will all dance to the uplifting sound of the African drum and song.

WATOTO AFRIKA Spring Festival 2017

We are pleased to announce that the spring festival of Watoto Afrika will take place on 05 & 06 May 2017 at the headquarters of the Association of Greek Archaeologists. (Sillogos Ellinon Archeollogon).

Address: 134-136 Ermou Street,Thisio (train station), Athens.

Come join us in our celebration of the spring and summer season with African music, dance, cuisine and admire our beautiful and colourful handicrafts. Also, try face-painting the African way!!!!

Pan-African Festival

WATOTO AFRIKA would like to invite you to another one of our popular festivals, which will be held in Halandri, at Evripidio Theatre Rematias, in the middle of a forest!!! There will be lots and lots for you to enjoy, including delicious food from all over Africa, handicrafts, lots of colourful clothes and jewellery, body painting,  and much much more!!

And as usual, we will also have African music, drum and dance which will transport you to magical Africa with the African beat!!

So, let’s get together once more, on the 23rd July from 18:00 till late, and put joy into our hearts in these difficult times!!

WATOTO AFRIKA Spring Festival

To celebrate the beginning of the Carnival, Ubuntu Drum and Dance Group would like to invite you to an amazing and exotic performance, including the Mask Dance from the heart of Africa!!!!! Make sure you bring your own masks and dancing shoes because the performance will be followed by a wild carnival party!!!!!

WATOTO AFRIKA is organising a CARNIVAL PARTY and BAZAAR on Valentine’s Day to celebrate the 2015 Carnival in an African way.

There will be live traditional African music, dances, food, arts ‘n crafts and much, much MORE!!!!
